Brief Job description:
Therapist/Assessor to join our dynamic team as a trainer and operate within our focused framework .
- Offering initial assessments, ongoing evaluations to apprentice and other unqualified beauty therapist under going work based vocational training.
- Provide advisory services to a diverse case load of our work based learners.
- Responsible to liaise and deal with external approved awarding body.
- To ensure that each learner has a detailed individual learning plan, has the opportunities to complete that plan as an assessor.
- To use an approach that is training based and not assessment only based; and each learner/apprentice is supported to build a high-quality portfolio during.
- Responsible to ensure the delivery of work-based assessment conforms to the requirements of awarding organization’s and the external Colleges quality assurance systems working with Coal City.
- Responsible in carrying out initial sign ups, reviews, assessments & exit interviews, reviews and report learner progress to deadlines.
- You will expected provide treatments to customers to ensuring a good role model and coal city professional image is maintained and delivering exceptional customer service to all clients.
Person specification and qualification:
- Related occupational NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification
- Practical experience working as beauty therapist in spa parlour .
- Assessor qualification or a willingness to complete this within 12 months
- Interest and knowledge of work-based learning and other workforce development programmes.
- Experience of working with and understanding employer needs in respect of workforce development/skills development.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and hardworking
- Flexible and hard working
- Good eye for details
